U.S. Internal Revenue Service settles biggest tax dispute in history

By JIM ABRAMS Associated Press Writer (AP) - WASHINGTON-The Internal Revenue Service announced Monday that it had settled a dispute with the pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline Holdings under which Glaxo will pay $3.4 billion ("‚¬2.67 billion) in the largest tax dispute in IRS history.
