Scientist convicted of trying to kill Americans
By TOM HAYS Associated Press Writer NEW YORK (AP) - A U.S.-trained Pakistani scientist has been convicted of charges she tried to kill Americans while she was detained in Afghanistan. A Manhattan jury found Aafia Siddiqui (ah-FEE'-uh sih-DEE'-kee) guilty Wednesday of seven counts of attempted murder.
