Officials: Man who tried entering base is AWOL

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Officials say a man detained for trying to enter a Florida Air Force base with a car full of weapons is a member of the military who was listed as absent without leave. Officials at MacDill Air Force Base said there is no indication the incident late Monday was an act of terrorism.
