Judge to sentence Birmingham ex-mayor for bribery

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Former Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford is due in court to find out how long he will go to federal prison for taking some $235,000 in bribes. U.S. District Judge Scott Coogler ordered Langford to be in court Friday for sentencing. He was convicted on 60 felony counts in October and removed from office.
